Q:
Where are my payroll records held?
A: Data is passed electronically to the offices of
netpayroll.co.uk and stored on their computers. Your data is not available
on the web.
Q:
Is the sending of my data over the internet secure?
A: The site is secured by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) security
which means that the data is scrambled during transmission so it cannot be
read. SSL is a recognised means of securing data.
Q:
Money
transfers to staff or the Revenue. Is my money safe?
A: Any payments made are by a direct telephone line
connection to the Banks/Revenue. They are not submitted via the internet
although it is now recognised that using certain procedures the internet
is as safe as any other means of transmission.
Q:
What
if my computer fails will I still receive my payroll?
A: Yes, netpayroll.co.uk can also process your payroll
as a traditional bureau would. Should your computer fail you can
telephone, or fax, your pay details to us. We will then process it and
provide all the printouts you may require by return fax, or by post.
